Tecumseh

Tecumseh, like few other natives before him, sought to unify the various Indian tribes against the expansion of the Americans. I wonder, though, what he planned to do if he managed to halt the expansion. Would he have kept them organized? Would he have sought former territory, or merely been content with the territory they already had? This rebellion had many similarities with Pontiac's rebellion, but there was one key difference. Pontiac had been fighting the British and the colonists. Tecumseh was allied with the British, who oftentimes gave him military support. In the end, though, it wasn't enough, and Tecumseh's group of organized tribes fell into disarray.
